TuffWrap^® EXT Keeps Tire Manufacturing Facility Rolling

OVERVIEW

A Tire Manufacturer expanded its production facility and needed protection against dust, debris, and weather. It was essential to keep employees safe and the facility operational during construction.

CHALLENGE

The remodeling of the Tire Manufacturer’s facility included demolishing one of the existing walls, which would produce dust and debris and expose the facility to outside elements. While working in the area, the adjacent production lines needed protection from contamination. The temporary solution needed to be durable enough to withstand daily vehicle traffic. In addition, the employees required a clean and safe environment to continue working during construction.

SOLUTION

TuffWrap^® Installations used TuffWrap^® EXT double-reinforced temporary engineered exterior walls, TuffWrap’s signature exterior protection solution, to create a protected space for the production lines during the wall removal. It is a weather barrier that temporarily encloses the exterior of a structure without the need to shrink material with an open flame or scaffolding.
