TuffWrap kept travelers on time. Our signature SmartSeam® Suspended Cover was used to keep an airport terminal operating during emergency repairs.

When an international airport was struck with a sudden storm, flight delays were the least of their concerns. That’s because the roof of the terminal was damaged in the bad weather, and the roof of an entire section would need to be replaced. But shutting down even one terminal in an airport can be a gargantuan task, causing costly delays.

The airport needed a solution that would keep them open during repairs. Fortunately, SmartSeam® Suspended Cover is designed to do exactly this. It’s compliant to the International Fire Code and UL-723S, meaning it can be safely installed under fire sprinklers.

With TuffWrap’s help, the terminal was able to stay open and flights stayed on time. We used High Structured Dust Removal during takedown to ensure that the terminal was completely free of dust debris after the work was done. Between TuffWrap’s in-house innovation, expert installation, and code compliance, the job got done quickly and the customers were happy with the result.
