TuffWrap Installations’ rugged TuffWrap EXT® temporary exterior was used to keep a Distribution Center operating during expansion.

When a major retailer decided to expand its Distribution Center, they ran into a problem. The expansion required removing several warehouse walls, and existing equipment and stock would have to be moved unless there was some protection from wind and weather.

We installed TuffWrap EXT® prior to the removal of the walls to protect the interior of the facility. It can be more cost-effective than tarps or plywood walls and protects against wind and weather. TuffWrap EXT® is specially designed to be a weather-resistant solution for protecting workspaces that are exposed to the elements during construction.

Ultimately, the retailer was thrilled with the job TuffWrap did. The job cost less with TuffWrap EXT® than it would have with tarps, and offered better protection against wind and weather than shrink wrap. Thanks to the temporary exterior walls, the Distribution Center was able to keep inventory safe, and packages moving on time.
